"A violent Lithuanian burglar avoided deportation after claiming it would breach his right to a family life under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)... He is the latest serious criminal to halt his deportation following similar successful claims by a Zimbabwean killer, an Albanian murderer and a Turkish drug crime boss that their ECHR article eight rights to a family life would be breached by being removed from the UK.
