Popular Conservatism is delighted to congratulate Kemi Badenoch on her successful campaign to be the next leader of the Conservative Party.
The campaign highlighted many of the issues – such as party democracy and the need to have policies based on core Conservative values – that are of most concern to our thousands of supporters across the country. We are confident that Kemi Badenoch is willing to take on the challenges faced.
Popular Conservatism looks forward to working with the new leadership team to ensure the voices of the grassroots are counted in all decisions.
Mark Littlewood, Director of Popular Conservatism said:
"All Conservatives will be hoping we have selected not just a new leader but our next prime minister. The party must now come together under Kemi and give her maximum support in rebuilding and renewing the Conservative Party. This will require a radical approach to policy to overhaul and reset Britain's entire governmental structure as well a complete remaking of the party itself. There is also no credible pathway back to power without winning over huge swathes of Reform voters. The challenge is immense but if the party can now unite it is not merely achievable, it is also a national priority to remove this government at the earliest opportunity."
