"The 'incapable' Home Office should be split up after 'falling short' on immigration reform, ex-minister Robert Jenrick said today.
A major new think-tank study, co-authored by the former immigration minister, says the department is 'simply too unwieldy to function'.
It should become the Department of Border Security and Immigration Control, the report suggests, with remaining crime-fighting functions hived off to a new Department for Policing and National Security.
