"The Telegraph can reveal that a secretive organisation called Doctors Vote led by militant junior doctors has been accused of running an “abusive” social media campaign aimed at taking over the BMA.
The group has posted a barrage of online comments accusing longstanding union officials of “corruption”, among a slew of unproven allegations.
Other posts wrongly suggested that incumbent BMA officials were unelected.
Insiders fear that this may be part of a long-term plot to seize control of the BMA’s leadership in order to drag it further to the left.
Should they take power, it could mean members will use continued industrial action to campaign against even a Labour government led by Sir Keir Starmer, who is regarded by many junior doctors as insufficiently radical on the NHS...
