Pop Conversations is a series of online conversations with leading figures who are shaping UK conservative thinking.
On Tuesday 14th January at 7pm, PopCon Director, Mark Littlewood, will be joined by the Right Hon Lord (David) Frost CMG, former diplomat and Minister of State at the Cabinet Office, with oversight of the implementation of the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement.
In the run up to the general election, Lord Frost was a prolific proponent of the Tories demonstrating true Conservative values, not only in trade but all policy areas. His experience at the Cabinet Table with Boris Johnson and as a senior civil servant, has given him a profound insight into the workings of Conservatives in Government as well as the mechanics of the public sector and international trade deals. He has won plaudits from across the conservative and Brexit supporting spectrum for his sage and outspoken views.
Mark will ask David for his thoughts on why the Conservatives deserved to lose in July and what they need to do in order to regroup and win the next election in face of opposition not only from the left but from Reform as well.
