PopConversations is a series of online conversations with leading figures who are shaping UK conservative thinking.

On Thursday 23rd January at 7pm, PopCon Director, Mark Littlewood, will be joined by Ben Habib, former Brexit Party MEP and Deputy Leader of Reform UK.

Having previously supported the Conservative Party, Ben joined the Brexit Party in 2019 over Theresa May’s betrayal of Brexit and was elected as an MEP for London. He supported the Withdrawal Agreement drawn up by Boris Johnson and following the UK's departure from the EU Ben became joint deputy leader of Reform UK in 2023 before being replaced by Richard Tice during the 2024 general election campaign.  He became increasingly outspoken on the need for party reform and members' rights and following publication of their new constitution in September he resigned from Reform UK.

Ben is a strong proponent of Brexit opportunities, the Union of the United Kingdom and party democracy, Mark will ask his views on the future of Brexit, constitutional devolution and how, having been at the most senior levels of Reform UK, he believes the right can take the fight to Labour to win the next election.
