PopConversations is a series of online conversations with leading figures who are shaping UK conservative thinking.

On Thursday 25th September at 7pm Mark Littlewood, Director of Popular Conservatism was in conversation with Andrew Griffith MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Business and Trade.

This was a candid, no-holds-barred discussion on the challenges facing the Conservative Party, the battle against bureaucratic overreach, and strategies to restore democratic accountability while championing free-market values.

Before entering politics, Andrew had a senior and successful career as a media executive. Qualifying as a chartered accountant in 1996, he worked at Rothschild & Co and PwC. Joining Sky in 1999, he became its youngest FTSE 100 Chief Financial Officer by 2008, later serving as Chief Operating Officer and chairing Just Eat. His experience gives him an insight into the higher levels of both finance and politics few can match.
