TUESDAY 14TH OCTOBER 2025: 7PM : ONLINE WITH ADAM HOLLOWAY
THIS EVENT HAS NOW ENDED
PopConversations is a series of online conversations with leading figures who are shaping UK conservative thinking.
On Tuesday 14th October at 7pm Mark Littlewood, Director of Popular Conservatism was in conversation with Adam Holloway - former Conservative MP and now a member of Reform UK.
Adam served as an officer in Royal Hussars, then as a broadcast journalist with Sky News and ITN, reporting from conflict zones, before being elected as the Conservative MP for Gravesham in 2005. Holloway served nearly two decades, rising as a whip under Boris Johnson and Liz Truss.
Known as a robust and outspoken MP, he has always supported conservative values: low taxes, minimal regulation, and fierce national sovereignty.
A staunch Brexiteer, he opposes the ECHR's overreach and advocates for robust immigration controls. He prioritizes veterans' rights, rejecting their prosecution for historic actions, and seeks a Britain that rewards hard work over welfare dependency.
Defeated in the 2024 General Election, he defected to Reform UK in July 2025, declaring the Conservatives "beyond salvation" and that "Reform grasps the scale of our peril,".
