POPCON ANNOUNCES FIRST TWO REGIONAL ORGANISERS

ANNOUNCEMENT

We are delighted to announce that Cameron Amoils and Bill Etheridge have agreed to be our first two voluntary regional organisers who will promote our movement across North London and the West Midlands respectively.

Cameron worked most recently as a Parliamentary staffer for Adam Afriyie, the former Conservative MP for Windsor. He will be promoting PopCon in North London (where he lives) and Hertfordshire where he was born and grew up. Cameron said:

“PopCon is going to have a vital role to play in helping to rebuild the Conservative Party by advocating for genuinely conservative principles to be at the heart of the party’s future policy platform, and I am delighted to have the opportunity to support this work as a Regional Organiser.”

Bill served as a UKIP MEP in the West Midlands from 2014-2019 and also served as a UKIP councillor. He rejoined the Conservative Party last year. Bill said:

“I am delighted to have been invited to act as a regional organiser for the PopCon movement . We have an historic opportunity to change politics and offer the British people a real conservative option and it’s an honour to be able to play my part.”

Welcoming Bill and Cameron’s appointments, PopCon Director, Mark Littlewood, said:

“Our message is really beginning to resonate and we are pushing on to recruit more PopCon supporters across the coming year. Bill and Cameron have already been helping us behind-the-scenes and I am delighted to make their roles official to help us spread the word across the country. I look forward to working with them both in the coming weeks and months.“
